About Accurate Insurance Consulting
Licensed public adjusters with deep construction expertise. We represent homeowners—never insurance companies.
We're on Your Side
Accurate Insurance Consulting is a licensed public adjusting firm serving Virginia, Maryland, Washington D.C., Delaware, and West Virginia. We help homeowners navigate insurance claims with confidence and clarity.
Our team combines deep construction expertise with licensed public adjusting credentials. Several of our adjusters come from contractor backgrounds—which means we understand what damage looks like, what repairs actually cost, and how to document claims so nothing gets missed.
That dual perspective gives our clients an edge when negotiating with insurance companies. We don't just know insurance policy language—we know buildings.
HAAG Certified for residential roof damage assessment—the gold standard in the industry.

The people behind your claim.
Daniel Harrington
Managing PartnerDan brings a lifetime of construction experience to insurance claims. Raised in the industry by his father, he developed a deep understanding of building systems, materials, and what it takes to properly restore a property. That foundation led him to public adjusting, where he now combines hands-on construction knowledge with licensed expertise to advocate for homeowners.
As Managing Partner, Dan oversees day-to-day operations and works across all areas of the business—from field inspections to desk-side claim management to large loss projects. His HAAG certification in residential roofing ensures accurate damage assessments, and his multi-state licensing allows him to serve clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond. Dan met his business partner Anthony over 15 years ago while they were both teaching martial arts—a shared discipline that shaped the focus and precision they bring to AIC today.
Ana Wiseman, MBA
Finance Manager & Managing Public AdjusterAna is the operational backbone of AIC, overseeing the financial systems and process workflows that keep claims moving efficiently from intake to settlement. With an MBA and a sharp focus on business operations, she ensures that every claim is tracked, documented, and positioned for maximum recovery.
While Ana works primarily behind the scenes rather than in a client-facing role, her impact is felt on every file. She manages billing, payment processing, and financial reporting while also maintaining the internal systems that allow the team to stay organized across dozens of active claims. On large loss projects, Ana coordinates the complex documentation and financial tracking these files demand.
Anthony Richardson
Field Manager & PartnerAnthony is AIC's go-to field inspector—the one who isn't afraid to climb the steepest roof or navigate the trickiest access point to document damage that others might miss. His fearlessness in the field, combined with a meticulous eye for detail, means homeowners get thorough inspections that capture the full scope of their loss.
Beyond his own inspections, Anthony develops AIC's field practice—training team members, refining inspection protocols, and ensuring consistency across every property visit. He and Dan met over 15 years ago while teaching martial arts together, and that discipline carries into everything Anthony does. When he's not on a roof, you'll find him at the dojang—he still teaches TaeKwon Do in his spare time.
Dawn Richardson
Consultant & Public AdjusterDawn is the friendly voice on the other end of the line—warm, approachable, and genuinely invested in helping clients through what can be a stressful process. Her customer-first demeanor puts homeowners at ease while she works tirelessly behind the scenes to maximize their coverage and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
At the desk, Dawn excels at working through policy language, identifying covered items, and pushing claims toward full recovery. She's particularly skilled in contents adjusting—meticulously documenting personal property losses and making sure clients are compensated fairly for everything from furniture to family heirlooms. When it comes to getting work done and keeping claims moving, Dawn delivers.
Sean Hall
Public AdjusterSean is a Marine Corps veteran who brings the same discipline and work ethic he learned in the service to every claim he handles. Before joining AIC, he spent over 10 years in the siding and roofing industry—experience that gives him an expert eye for exterior damage and repair costs. Prior to that, he served as an EMT, where he developed the calm-under-pressure mindset that serves him well in high-stakes claim situations.
What sets Sean apart is his versatility. He's equally talented in the field—climbing roofs and documenting damage—as he is at the desk, working through estimates and negotiating with carriers. That dual capability makes him a valuable asset on any claim, whether it requires boots on the ground or focused desk work to push it across the finish line.
